Does anyone know if SteamDeck will support Wifi 6?
This is important because areas I live have all 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz channels used up. Yea those 40Mhz and 80Mhz wide access points. Since with the Steam Deck, it is relying on Wifi so much, would be bad if Wifi 6 (802.11ax) is not available.

This thing got a USB port. Meaning if you find yourself a USB WLAN6 dongle, you may just as well use that.

That maybe a good idea, will consider about that, will have to test it out once I have a device on my hand.

You can test now. To be more precise, you can look for a stick which surely certainly will run on Linux. I've no idea about the details of WLAN hardware support on Linux right now, but the last time I checked (admittedly, that was years ago), the situation was extremely poor.

It's been consistent for a very long time: with Intel networking hardware you'll be perfectly fine; with anything else you're likely to have a rougher ride.
