Anyone know how i can get the trading cards for this game?

do you maybe get them after killing the coresponding monster a specific amount of times?
do i have to buy them?

buy and trading is about the only way. I think you can get 1 or 2 random cards for playing the game but after that, you can only get them through trading or buying them on the community market.

you get half of the cards by playing the game but the other you have to buy/trade

Technically if you play enough steam and have enough various items you can recycle stuff into gems to create your own card packs but I assume if you need to ask this about steam cards you won't have enough nor the patience to go that route.

Beyond that, spending money on dlc and IAP for games gives you more card drops but its very expensive and Minecraft dungeons don't have much for you to buy.

Other than that you can trade with other users (that feature is made more for higher value steam items and it will likely be a pain to find people to trade with.

The most efficient way is to buy them on the steam market place, the amount of time it saves you is worth the 5 cents each card will cost.
