No internet connection prompt before start

Hi,
i have recently purchased the game but i can§t get pass the main screen with pop up window and error message UNABLE TO SIGN IN - Check your internet connection and try again.
The point is i definitely am connected to the internet and also tried various worarounds found on internet. After confirmin OK on the pop up window the game does nothing like for ages and there is nothing to click, with the only option being closing the game completely.

Any advice is very welcomed.

Thanks. Sorry but any advice how to do so? I am playing on PC and was able to log into my microsoft account in a browser, but i don’t see how is that connected to my steam account.

I will try to look up more, but still a walkthrough would be much appreciated.

hiya pal did you find a soloution to to this as my mrs is having the same problem

No not in a browser. On your PC you should have the Microsoft store app, and an xbox app.

mine is working perfectly but the mrs is logged into both store and app yet she loads the game and it says internet dropped, im really confused to why its doing it

You could try removing all the microsoft/xbox accounts from your PC in the windows credential manager. Then you should be prompted to sign in

Maybe Windows Firewall rules?
You can temporary disable to check if its the firewall:

Then you can add a rule for the game and enable again.

Could the reason be running on Windows 7? As no solution works for me…

When I look at the Steam MC Dungeons requirements, at the very bottom I find an asterisk (*) saying that at Steam version Win 7 is no longer supported since January 2024
