Constant Connectivity Issues with Minecraft Dungeons

Haven't been able to play MCD Online at all today.

It signs in and I can play Single Player, but Online just throws this message:

CONNECTION FAILURE
Unable to connect to the Minecraft
Dungeons service. Please try again
later.

Could play Online fine the other day, and nothing at all has changed on my end. PC is always shut down fully when going to bed (Fast Boot disabled), and router is restarted each time I get out of bed. Everything else (PC & Internet speeds/connection) is all good and well, no problems elsewhere.

MCD still won't allow me to play Online.

I tried some other things like pinging IP addresses MCD connects to & using Looking Glasses. Also tried different DNS servers. Even tried port forwarding (which I know very well how to do correctly without fail). Still got absolutely nowhere with MCD's issue. I guess I have to just keep checking every day until it is magically fixed.

In the mean time, I guess I'll just have to keep playing other co-op games with the same friend.
My connection works fine for everything else except MCD.

Microsoft/Xbox Account Settings still look all good and in check. As MCD on Steam even requires one to play.

My friend even bought this game for me to play with him, and it hurts to not be able to abide to my promise to play with him.

Disappointing.

Creating a brand new Microsoft/Xbox Account didn't fix it either.

Well, I'm completely out of ideas now. Nothing at all has fixed this game's Online connection. Just need to wait until the game magically fixes it's Online capability, which could take years.

Meanwhile my friend probably hates me due to this issue, since it was his money and my promise.

Changed ISP & bumped up to a faster plan speed (1000/50 > 1000/400) in the process, and now it's managed to make MCD even worse.

If I'm not mistaken they made a statement a while back that they've stopped active development of the game which is a darn shame since they've also stated they have no plans to make the Steam version playable offline like the Switch version is (I reached out to their support about a year ago and asked).

I've noticed the same connectivity problems with regular Minecraft for a couple years now. And it seems to peak on evenings and weekends. It almost seems like they have insufficient servers for demand. One would think they would use their new AI toys to better load balance across games, or to shift server load from business to gaming as needed...
