1) do you like building mecha?
2) do you like an inconsequential and forgettable story?
3) do you like button mashing your way to victory?
4) do you like taking screenshots and make diorama?
5) do you like gunpla?
If you answered "yes" in all of them or most of them, then get this game. It's mega fun!
The gameplay is in the vein of "Fun but shallow" and the customization is fantastic but mostly only benefits aesthetics rather than gameplay.
Still it's overall a fun time if you like Gundam/Gunpla.
I wish Omega Force would rerelease Gundam Musou on modern systems already...
Honestly, with how short the missions in GB4 are, I would prefer this had been more of a Dynasty Warriors type game. At least you wouldn't be going in and out of loading screens every couple of minutes or constantly waiting for the next group of 3-6 enemies to spawn. It just gets boring when you get to the point where the hardest difficulty is too easy.
The idea of the early game is to mix and match pieces you get to increase your stats. Leveling parts and weapons unlocks by continuing the story.
