But Ralsei very heavily resembles Asriel, Kris' brother, and is clearly based off him. Them being together would be kinda weird.

Unless Toby invited Nemlei or George R.R. Martin or Toshihiro Kondo onto the writing team I don't think the story would go down that route.

(Also, Ralsei's a Darkner, meaning he's technically an object.)

you sound certain, how certain? do you have evidence to back it up? for something to be canon it must happen in game and with what I know Kris x anyone is not confirmed, though I am interested to see why you believe this, and what evidence you have that suggests this

Recall there's implications that Kris doesn't exactly like Ralsei. They certainly tolerate him as an ally but don't really view him as a friend.

Want to say it's the various tea items you can buy that are 'flavored' after your various party members and the HP they restore depends on how much that character likes that other character. If I recall, Ralsei tea restores an average amount of HP if Kris drinks it.

I think people exaggerate how "little" the tea heals Kris. It's still a decent amount. Easily enough to call a friend. Just not a lover.

They only met recently after all, really only knowing each other for about 2 days. It would take some time for a really deep friendship to develop.

the tea could also heal less because he misses Asriel and seeing someone so clearly similar but not Asriel hurts a bit, which is why it heals less
