Years only applies after you have completed 2, but you're nearly there.
A game of this complexity could very easily take 2 more.
But thanks for input.
Its "HoI: east vs west" all over again. Every couple of years some studio try to make a grand strategy game about the cold war and fails. This one is not different.
It is very defrent with the Developer Diaries shown an active development with nice revisions when necessary

But i cant also very eager for the release of the game or at least an early access
Hell it went on stream several times, and I remember die hard fans were copeing and saying it will be release up until the very moment the studio said they shut down.
Then about a year later the alpha version was leaked.
I remember sitting though few other grand cold war projects and they always get abandoned. There is really nothing suggesting espiocracy is any different.
"steady diary releases" happened in every other dev attempt. They release diaries until they don't.
I still not seen any argument of any hint that it is goinf to be delayed or abandoned

Like ? games that are delayed ? due to covid for example in past may be , but abandoned ? that shows too mush effort/work/money to go to void of abandonment
"Hell it went on stream several times, and I remember die hard fans were copeing and saying it will be release up until the very moment the studio said they shut down."
That may happens if the studio shut down , is it not ? or else why work on it with regular work and updates ? has it not has similar odds with the development team suddenly quitting to go Bigfoot hunting ?
I have seen games been on development gor decades but also have years or decades to show any development to the public . I dont think this game has any similar indications so far
There are always excuses, I've been arguing with people and when I turn out right they always start filing out the excuses.
"B-b-but no one expected covid", "it's not their fault the economy sucks right now", "making games nowdays is so much harder then making them 10 years ago". give me a break.
But if I was him I wouldn't and I would just laugh at stuff like this.
