b) Edit maps.
Why would you want to delete it? It's one of just few features Extreme have to offer.
And you won't get any more balanced then this, as for AI, those free units from camps are the only way they can give a slightest fight to you.
As in normal Crusader, or if playing with just few AI even on Extreme, they are completely useless and boring to play vs., since they don't produce enough units on their own, and attack rarely.
The main benefit of extreme over regular crusader is the higher troop limits.
s1volu if you find the AIs too useless i recommend installing the unofficial Crusader Patch with the aggressive AI option ticked. steps the AIs up quite a bit.
To edit maps that came with the game you will need to use gunnies mapunlocker to unlock them first
