What is the Difference between Stronghold HD and Extreme

Also, what does it mean high unit cap ??
Does it mean that exterme is way harder and units die fast.

Note: Although, I just bought the game today, I was playing this memorable game when i was young 8 years ago.

stronghold hd is the first stronghold, stronghold crusader hd is stronghold hd but set in the desert with some different units and extreme is stronghold crusader hd but with the ability to rain down showers of arrows / heal your troops / group of spearmen / group of engineers / group of macemen / lots of gold / group of mounted knights and hail of rocks all controlled by a blue power bar that increases over time.
there are also barracks that keep on spawning units until destroyed and a high unit end cap just means that you and your many enemies can have bigger armies
i love most of the stronghold series but extreme can be a little too easy if you use your abilities
