Great, now I'm making a Wizard King and naming him 'Phillip'.
...Now I kind of want to use them to explore the demonic tomes.
I wanna give Herbivore to carnivorous species now. It would be funny to see Cats or Lupines munching on some bushes and cacti during battle.
But I got to say, the new mounts are nice, but I still want aesthetic customization options for the new cultures. It's really holding back my creativity, and really that's what this game is all about; making cool fantasy faction and letting your imagination run wild just like Stellaris.
And yes, the new mounts are nice. Hope they add raptor mounts soon.
Well, good news, the Wolf Update is adding in the ability to make your own custom faction description, instead of using the pre-generated one.
Not sure why it took them 3 DLC's to finally implement that feature? But at least now I can finally give my factions the biography I want for them!
Those would be great too. I know Age of Wonders has never really had giant bird mounts like that before, but that didn't stop them from adding giant spiders (They were in previous games but were never mounts), bears, and crocodiles in this game.
They did have giant frogs though. In the first game, lizards road around on giant frogs. :-)
Yeah, you'd think they would have added them in with the update to naval combat.
Or maybe as an alternative to Naga Form, since it's a racial transformation that disables your units' mounted status.
