Those require an enemy to target, and cannot just be used on tiles. The March of Frost and tome of paradise spell's are the only terraforming spells in the game that I am aware of that doesn't require an enemy target. Which sorta leaves you gimped if you don't take one of the two in the event anyone is using frost for example and you know, freezes half the planet.

It's a simple point to make, that there is a lack of terraforming, most noteably a general use 'return land to one of the basic types' spell, which would be helpful as hell at a cost.

Thanks for the link, that's a neat database.
A big transformer building that slowly turns the land around it to that type and endlessly slowly spreading outwards would also be cool, maybe a new Terraforming victory condition.
I also assume you get more resources from that type but if not, give that as a transformation too.
