I wanna make an adorable frog waifu UwU
The true reason why goblin girls have to kidnap their future husbands...
At first I had reservations about the goblins looking like a bunch of saggy, old men, with comically large noses. But it appears they have a variety of different appearance options you can pick. Some of them look more like miniature Orcs, while others have a truly monstrous appearance; such as having an oversize mouth full of sharp teeth.
But I also saw in the background units that there were some female goblins who had relatively 'normal' looking features. So if you want your leader to be a cute goblin girl, there may still be hope.
I don't know why the anime decided to cut out the fact the goblins actually communicate with each other, like they do in the manga. Changed their dialogue sections to just be a bunch of random grunts and giggles.
When you actually know what is going on inside their heads, we see that Goblin Slayer's genocidal hatred towards them is perfectly justified. I'll tell you right now that the Goblin Lord was planning to do some full on, Warhammer Grimdark level ♥♥♥♥ with Priestess if she had shown him mercy.
Toads are now my thing.
But I should give the gobbo's another go <3
I do love how some of the goblin head types look like straight up nightmare fuel.
We call it, giving the player options to create what they want to play : D>
yes, and I'm sure it will make for some very amusing diplomacy events in multiplayer.
"Alright, time to see what my friends are playing a-AHH! What the hell is that thing!?"

Then again i admit, i often played Goblins specifically due to being extremely overpowered in many aspects. Like that +1 production per wetland hex, holey moley
Everything else i've seen about the AOW4 artwork and production value has really exceeded my expectations. Especially the humans and orcs look top notch in this one.
