End of Chapter 2 DP
I've been using a guide to get 100% DP, and the guide says I'm supposed to have 144 DP by the end of this ch2 but I only have 142 and I don't understand why.

I did all the requests, including the two hidden requests, and got the maximum bonus for all of them (yes I did meet Xin on the train request.

Looking at the guide, apparently I'm missing the 2 bonus points on the general "support request" which has max 8 bonus DP, where I only got 6 bonus DP. I'm not sure how you get the full amount.

I beat Campanella at that damn pom game first time (first time on that save file, at least) and answered correctly "a third group." I don't know where else there are any opportunities to gain or lose DP. I guess the fact there are 8 bonus points means there must be SOME other factors which earn you more points, but I can't think what they are.

If you're using the Neooseeker guide, you should be getting max DP. I've done 3 playthroughs using that guide (Hard, Nightmare x2) and I've never missed a single DP at the end of Chapter 2.

Stuff I can think of that might be easy to miss:

1. Did you speak to Commander Baelz on Chapter 2 Day 1?
2. There is also an event in Amorica Village on Day 1 in their Inn.
3. Did you track down Lechter and Killika for Dudley on Chapter 2 Day2?

Thanks! I found out it was that stupidly obscure Dudley thing of tracking down Lechter and Kilika which is easy to miss even in the guide. I really hate how I'm gonna eventually have to replay the entire second half of ch2 just because of that one thing which relies on you talking to NPCs in a specific order (AND replay that pom game). *sigh* I really hoped I wouldn't have to keep my eye on the guide for every little event, but the game throwing in things like that makes it mandatory.

Thanks again.

There's no achievement for maximum DP so you can afford to miss some.

The highest detective rank (and achievement) requires just 380 out of maximum possible of 405 DP. As long as you finish all sidequests (including hidden ones), you should get it.

Zero was a much less forgiving game, I think you could only miss 4 DP in that game, but you can miss up to 25 DP in Azure for max rank.

Oh, thanks, hat's good to know. I was caught out bc I think the Sky games require 100%.
