Trails with smaller party & no Reserves

Are there any other(s) Trails games with rather small-sized playable cast that doesn't force you to leave characters behind? (Didn't want to dig into playable characters list for each game to avoid potential spoilers): Trails from Zero would be the best example. I loved being allowed to travel with up to five or six characters, and being able to swap the support characters anytime in-between fights. This game has the best writing among all Trails games or even the entirety of JRPG games , you cannot change my mind.

Bad translation?

I heard that these games have bad translations because they were amateur fan translators doing it and they added weird jokes to the games when these lines weren't in the original Japanese scripts. What happened to "Sully's Jumping Minigame"?

Way back, we had like a 100-page flame war over potential changes in some jumping minigame where a number of long-time troublemaker got banned, and as I played through the game myself I was dreading the moment where I would have to face this insurmountable challenge, but then I was in the final dungeon and I thought, "Maybe Sully will come out of nowhere and help me navigate a needlessly complicated path leading to a couple of Tear Balms or somesuch?" Cheevo from that VERY FIRST fight

There's no cheevo for the first fight, but there is one for analyzing every baddie in the game, including that first one. Since this was the very beginning and the first moment I had control of the game, I didn't realize your analyze ability at the time was a spell instead of a craft like in the first game, and anyway the monsters were coming out of a cave filled with monsters of all kinds, so no way they were the only two members of their species, right? Wrong. Oops. I must have made dinosaurs go extinct...

New game difficulty

So i beat the Zero on Hard and it was pretty normal *no pun intended* aside from the first chapter and bonus DP chalenges there, but i heard that this game is much harder than Zero. So which difficulty i should start with? Im fine with some challenge but im not a hardcore pro....

This game is... AMAZING!!! To be honest, the first two chapters (besides the prologue) didn't really resonate with me and I thought they were pretty poorly paced, I also had some gripes with reused jokes. But after that, this game just becomes the gift that keeps on giving. The storytelling is actually some of the best writing I've ever seen in a video game, and the amount of twists and turns it takes you on is such a treat.

I've not beaten it yet but I can easily say this is one of my favorite games of all time, and easily one of the best games in the entire Trails series. The combat is fun as hell, every character is lovable and well written, and the music is SO DAMN GOOD. If you haven't played the Crossbell duology (Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure) then what are you waiting for!? You're missing out on two of the best JRPGs EVER!
