As the title asks, is this based on the Dungeon Crawler Carl books? I just started reading them and thought they would make an interesting game. When I searched this game popped up.

When I'm playing a turn based RPG, I like to take my time searching for hidden treasures, optimizing gear and running to the bathroom once in a while. The timers in this game caused me to skip entire sections of levels, run away from battles and I had to wait until I was back in town for gear optimizing and changing formations. The timers made for an interesting twist, one boss I had 3 minutes left, another boss was left with 53 seconds left. I'm ok with a timer in one area of a game, but not ev...
