Thanks, figured out the last part of moving while grabbed, but guess I need to get better at rolling 8)
I don´t know if it was another bug, but ALL OF THOSE CRANES attacked me on one place.
I don´t know if you should just make run for it and just whack that scrap bucket.
Dodging works but the window is very small. You have to wait until the crane comes down completely and is at your level of height, like as soon as it comes down it won't grab you immediately you will have maybe half a second before the grab and that is the time you want to do the dodge. Once figured out it was simple to dodge all of them and then just turn around and destroy them.
Also, remember this: even if a crane grabs you it's NOT the end, as you have a small air control so if you push the movement direction towards the outer edge of the spike pit, roughlyt towards where you came from, the character will actually move in the eair enough to make you survive, even if you'll get some 170HP damage from the fall each time.
Easiest way to dodge cranes is stop moving, wait until very last second before they grab you, then just hit dodge button. No directional guidance, too many times those cranes anticipated my direction and snagged me anyway. Probably a bug. If you're quick you can land an attack, two times and they go boom.
This fight is frustratingly bugged.
EDIT: The longer I do this fight, the laggier and buggier it gets, even story mode doesn't do anything. Guess I'll add this to the "didn't finish" pile
How is it broken?
Also, there's a distinct audio clue-you just have to listen to the sound of crane claw going down. Once the sound stops-the claw's gonna grab you, so as soon as the sound stops, you stop and start dodge-rolling.
