The voice actor and design of the protagonist FAIL.

I actually did like the feel of the games controls and was even curious about the story/ world setting, BUT the protagonist's voice was so off putting and out of context. How did you cast this guy? Who thought that this would be who players want to identify with? He sounds like a super annoying entitled A-hole that didn't produce enough testosterone during puberty. Also it's cause of that super exaggerated British accent that's usually reserved for those really annoying characters in movies.

His hair just looks so stupid, he looks like a middle aged hipster in a coffee shop complaining that he didn't get the soy milk he asked for. Anyway whoever cast this voice actor and decided on the protagonist's image: either your taste is terrible or you were forced to do so. Was the voice actor your boss's friend or something? Or was the head investor like "I'll fund your game if you make main character look like me".

I had to refund the game, I would have actually given your game a chance, cause it looks like there's an interesting story, nice controls, visuals, but I couldn't spend more than 16 minutes playing it because of the choices you made. I'm really annoyed cause I did want to play this game! Seriously, not one person on your team was like "Aaah guys, I don't know about that guys voice or his haircut...."????

yeah I have to agree that the voice actor makes this game insanely hard to enjoy. I have no idea how they picked this voice for thier game. Goodness its terrible

Funny, I thought the voice was a perfect fit for the cheeky/ironic/sarcastic tone the main character regularly employs and I just enjoy the utterly British accent immensely, But then again, I also root for the Galactic Empire over the dirty Rebels. De gustibus non est disputandum, I guess?

PS: Once you put a helmet on him, you don't have to deal with his hipster haircut and beard anymore.

The writing is also pretty bad. The game is good but the voice acting and writing is terrible. Dialogue just makes no sense at times and is all over the place. If they ever make a second game then I hope they find a new writer and voice actors. Hard to get into the story with such terribly implemented writing. Those so far are really my two only complaints.

Strange, I love the writing. It's brimming with puns and witty references. So far, I have not encountered an instance where responses didn't make sense.

The main character is absolutely generic and speaks like a teenager after a few blunts all the damn time. The general writing is terrible as a whole.

yeah the voice. whether british or not, just sounds like a dweeb. like you expect someone who survived death to sound more like his balls have indeed dropped

But your protagonist is a super annoying entitled ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and a sociopath.
In my opinion, the main character is almost perfect (I only disliked one line), he wakes up with no memory and is ordered around by nonhuman creatures he knows nothing about.
Instead of spending his time glooming and crying, he abandons all empathy and slaughters all his enemies while trying to kill everyone else with puns, backhanded complements and insults.

This game is an isekai in which an internet user gets transported to another world but he can't die so he doesn't have to take the situation seriously so he speaks as if he was still writing comments on Twitch and Reddit.

It is glorious.
