Island at 97%, no clue how to get the last 3%- help!

I've cleaned up everything, planted a bunch of stuff... It's the small island with the pond in the middle. Not sure what else to do- any thoughts?

Not sure if it's the same one... but I finally figured out the one I was on, I just needed to repair the bird house along the path and.. viola! 100% and the angels sang! :D
So, look around for bird houses and such - also, if you don't have it yet, make and look at the field manual (or whatever it's called) - you may have a couple of corrupt pods you need to kill that are buried somewhere. Took me a while to find those snuggled in some rocks as well.

It was the "decomposers" bit. Found an island with a grinder and made my shroom seeds lol.

My problem is that i don`t know how to fix it with the lack of flowers/plants on an island - how do i do this?

If you have wild emerald island seeds, or whatever they're called, you can right click to change the type of plant. There's like 5 or 6 you can choose from. That's normally more than enough diversity for each island.

ohhhh - didnt know that - always planted these and thought that would randomly spawn another plant... thx man

How do you remove the corrupt pods?
(I've tried going over the entire blackened spot with the hoe thingy but i'm just picking up dirt)

There are some large planet with 3 root attacking you when you get close (but when you get into melee range of center, it can't reach you).

Attack the glowing part (there are 2 phases), then the it will spawn some minor enemies - back off a bit and kill them, and repeat. Usually take 2-3 rounds to remove a single corrupt pods (some islands have multiple nodes)

Also, if you have cleared an island, or come across one that needs the ecosystem healed and says to clear the corrupted pods... you will find them most often in caves or out of the way places that look like an infant version of the big ones. Just a yellow bulb on top of a few tendrils. Kill that/those.
