Got wool sails, stuck in first three sectors

Someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I have wool sails. I have thoroughly explored three sectors in the outermost ring. I can't seem to get outside them. If I try to cross the rubble barrier heading inwards it ruins my saiils. If I try to proceed anticlockwise to the fourth sector I get turned back with a message that the storm is too strong.

Should I sail back three sectors and try to go clockwise ? I was there recently and there was a storm blocking that direction too.

The jetstream (rubble barrier as you call it) is what you need to cross now ^^ It's a challenge tho, make sure you have enough fabric to repair your sails if they break, and try to navigate it without hitting any boulders!

the Jetstream can be hard to navigate, harder so the larger your island. You definitely want to avoid the black rocks with red cracks. They go boom, and can take out multiple sails. Just take your time and navigate it real slow.

I had no way of knowing that the jetstream wasn't a compete barrier. I think you're going to have to find a way to tell your players that that's what they should do next.

Also, that was terrifying ! I got through it but I'd sooner fight mushrooms. Not fun.

The progress bar in the top shows its a barrier. Very nice challenge as well.
