Zero Animals on All islands

Maybe I've run into a bug or something but there are zero animals on all of the islands, i've visited them all twice and searched high and low, nothing is there.

If you leave an island and come back do things respawn? Not sure if I just keep searching that one will eventually spawn or not but right now I am softlocked as I can't fix 1 or 2 islands without them.

This is a re-occuring problem, yeah. Someone in another thread said this:

Hopefully the next patch is soon, because a bunch of these islands have those recipe stones on them, locking you out of game content because of this bug.

Same problem here... Fixed 2 ecosystems flew across the map, saved and quit and when I got back there was one animal on one island and not on the ones I fixed. Some islands say they have animals on them, but they can't be found. Until this is fixed it's no use playing...
