Machines do not work at all or only very slowly

Hello everyone
I have quite a problem with Aloft.
It came, I think, after the small update last.
The mill, the composter, the sawmill, nothing produces anything and if it does, then very, very, very slowly. An item in about ten minutes, or nothing at all.
Is this a bug?
You need the raw materials that you produce to progress.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing helped.
Neither did restarting.
It would be nice if something changed. In any case, I'll stay in the game as long as I can produce the resources. after that, there's not much left.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Are you interacting with the various machines once loaded? They require "hand-cranking" if they aren't attached to a windmill for power.

Have a look at you windmill. Is it moving? if not build a new windmill. You may need to build a different type.

Thank you very much for your quick answers.
Unfortunately, I don't have a windmill yet and I can't build one because I need the raw materials for it, which I have to produce first, and unfortunately that doesn't work, not even with the hand crank.
I've just created a new world and the machines run as they should.
Maybe it's just because the game is in the alpha version.
I'm definitely staying in the game, it's just too much fun for me to give up now.

I'm having this same issue as of today. No windmill as of yet. I can put in the base materials for ANY machine, The mini-game spins and I can hit "F" as it spins, but nothing ever is produced on the right side. I've hit "F" up to 50 times with no result at all. I guess I'll try a previous auto-save and cross my fingers. This sucks as I was just about to enter the dessert biome and I have 80 hours in this save. They REALLY need to give us control over our saves so we can make multiple different saves just for issues like this during EA

Update: I verified files (none were broken), I reloaded the oldest save possible (which was STILL from today, ugh) and I still can't use any of the machines. I load 25 items, hit F as the circle spins, the white production arrow fills up, but the input stays at 25 and nothing is produced to the right side. Put in a bug report, but as it stands I can't progress and playing the game is pointless. This is a really bad error and I hope they can hotfix it quickly.

I'm just trying to consolidate these posts for whenever the devs can look into it. It sounds like a horrible, game-stopping bug!

Thanks for the information. I'll copy this info over there. And, yes, it sucks pretty bad since I can't progress after playing this long. They REALLY need to give us control over our saves and more slots. At least then I could have a real save from the previous day during these early access growing pain issues

If you remove the machines and remake them then they work again tryed it and it worked for me

I tested this. I appreciate the information but it didn't work for me. Same issue after removing and building the machine again. Hoping that patch comes soon *crosses fingers*

An update on this? All my machines have stopped producing/making anything at all which is a bit of a full stop to the game

They fix is coming in the March 11th patch. Let's hope it works!
