If you can't afford the game PC gaming may not be for you.
This is pretty cheap this day and age.
It's 25 USD, which is pretty common for EA survival games ^^ We are a small studio, and it wouldn't make sense for us to charge less, since it would endanger our ability to complete the 1.0 version of the game
You don't have to buy it, it's early access after all, it really is for people wanting to support us and fund the development of the game
I think you're way off. You may want to do some research.
Here, this will get you started.

Edit: Would you say what remains is *more* content or revisions to existing systems?
If you're looking for a decent experience you may want to sit on this title for a little bit.
The price IS reasonable for a typical EA survival-lite game of this type.... they usually start at 30 with a discount to 25 at the start... these guys are 25 USD with no discount. (and if you've been gaming longer than me then senility might be a problem for you soon)
What happened to the AU dollar? Its really in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
That regional pricing huh.
The game is $22 where I am.
Something to keep in mind is that distribution in a digital age doesn't really cost you anything, so while a lower price may seem like "taking a hit", depending on the price point, you are in fact reaching a much wider audience, which more than makes up for it.
The reason a lot of devs do a 10% off at EA launch is because people feel like they are saving money by getting it immediately, so there is an incentive to take a risk on a game they expect to play later once it is more complete. If the launch price is basically the full price, a good number of people will pass, because the price isn't going to change anytime soon (probably not within the first year anyway) while games at launch tend to be buggier, emptier and less optimized than later in development. It comes down to how soon you want your cash flow to come in and whether you want more of it up front (which sounds like you do as you need to fund the development).
As for the price: Dunno what you're talking about, it costs 25 Euros here, which is pretty normal for an EA game of this genre, kind and caliber. It's not the devs' fault the Australian dollar sucks. Complain to whoever's fault it is it's so low.
One island spawned zero nodes but was corrupted so you can't interact, a second island spawned the nodes correctly and acknowledges in the field guide I have destroyed them but won't let me cut down sick trees/do anything else on that island because... I need to "destroy the nodes to interact with the island."
I've scoured every inch of that second island and there are no more nodes or monsters as far as I can see. Maybe I'm just being stupid/am missing something.
Outside of that, I actually love the game.
