But any legend about it?
Or we unlock the legend later in the game?
Yeah, that`s what I really want to know, not just marking them
We left it up to you to choose what the icons means for your playthrough! A bit like the pins in hollow knight
Colors:
Grey is unvisited
Yellow is unhealthy
Purple is corrupted
Green is healthy and discovered
Icons:
KG is too heavy to sail
Tree with exclamation mark is unhealthy
Mushroom face is corrupted
Question mark is unexplored
Other icons are your own from beacons
Shape:
Pebble is standard island
Fresco is an island containing a fresco
Question mark is an undiscovered fresco
Yeah I was answering crimson's question, but my original answer if what you're looking for! Those symbols don't appear naturally on islands, they're placed by yourself through the beacons that you unlock at some point. Those on the right are to filter through your placed beacons
I have not unlocked the beacons and I have the top icon on the filterlist (the triangle one) on a number of islands I have visited... what does it mean?
I wish I could save this post! Thank you man!
I had an island with a triangle symbol. I found a bunch of short stumps on it, but one of them looked too neat. When I removed it with a hammer, the symbol was gone. I think it was supposed to be a partially built beacon, like the many building pieces scattered on various islands that you can learn to make via sketching.
Of course, not being one of the devs, all I can do is speculate on the purpose of these random beacons!
That's not the case in my game, I've only just placed the map table and haven't unlocked beacons yet, but several unexplored islands show the beacon symbols
