If you want numbers on a few things, demo had:
30-ish islands
1 biome
2 enemies
40-50 building pieces
1 sector containing 1 cluster of islands
Basic systems only
1 animal showcased
Early access has:
500 islands
Tons of ruins to explore
3 biomes
3 enemies and final boss
600+ building pieces
20 sectors containing 4-5 clusters of islands each
A lot of systems, machines, technologies, crafts, etc
4 animals
Other stuff ahah
It's much bigger!
The demo was a bit buggy, old in terms of content, and also not super optimized! We decided to remove it for now until we have time to make a new one that represents the real game!
But this has put me in an odd spot, and why I am waiting for more "real" info; I've SEEN this as a "large" world already (free), and frankly, it was very cool exploring/learning for 2-3 sectors.... but the game loop got a little repetitive with not much in the way of end-game goals after that.
THAT is the stuff that I want to know about; how does this look 30 hours down the road once you've found all the knowledge stones and got the cool sword that makes this games (fairly easy) combat totally trivial, and are left with 18 more sectors, and fly though the middle storm out of sheer boredom in the hopes of seeing more?
I wanna encourage games like this... it was fun... but still want to know what else I am getting for real money this time, if ya know what I mean.
