Aloft
so i cant attach 2 islands with each other?
Mine is medium, not too big but also not a tiny itsy one. But it lacks water and i have loads of seeds that could come handy with my crop field, i also have leaf buckets but no available water source.

Found a tiny island that has a puddle of water on it and tried to attach it to my main island. I built sails, wheel and all that in order to get it to my main island, tried to attach it with wood planks and stairs and what not, even made a bridge between them. But the bridge would just hang on the tiny island and my main would float away when im steering it.

Is it just not possible or is something special needed for that? Maybe something you find later? im still in the first area

This is a highly requested feature (especially in multiplayer) that the devs are undoubtedly looking into. Alas, there is no way to join islands together at the moment.

oh but good to know its alredy "in construction" so to say :steamhappy: thx!
just do what i do and have a storage chest near my farms and fill it with dirty water. it doesn't take long to fill one when you find a water source on an island, and it has lasted my entire playthrough

i found an even easyer way. Just have a leaf bucket, idk if it is intentional but appearantly the buckets always have water in them and i found 3 just sitting around in the starter area on some islands

mine definitely doesn't always have water in it. if i don't have water in my inventory, it will not water.

yeah i only realized later it uses the dirty water from my inventory, didnt pay mutch attention to it as i have like almost 100 "cups" of it. I plan to organize things better once i can build chests, dont want to use baskins for everything.
