Backup Saves

Hi folks,
How do I backup saves because I thought I could copy the folder from ...LocalLow\Astrolabe Interactive\Aloft\Data01\Saves and use that - but it just loads up exactly where my main play through left off. Reason for asking is I am making a series and I like to keep a backup save from the start of each episode in case something goes wrong and for B roll nonsense etc.

I do not have steam cloud saves enabled so I know I'm not loading from there.

I had that trouble with Supermarket Sim. I wanted to start a new game but not lose my old game. I copied my first game to a backup folder. Started a new game. When I wanted to play my old game, I switched the backup files with the new game files but still got the new game.
I found out , with research, that when I put the backup files back I should change the dates on the files to the new game dates. It worked. Not sure if this will work in your situation.

Backup the whole of

...LocalLow\Astrolabe Interactive\Aloft\

The subfolders all depend on one-another. Restoring just one of them requires knowledge of exactly what data belongs where. It's too complicated.
