I have looked around desert islands with insects on them and I didn't see any of them. So are they not implement yet meaning that several islands I have found in the desert area are not able to be collected, and the ones I have are not native. so the 3 I have are ladybug, blue bug, and bees.

Okay found that bees work, but this does make it hard to repair that many places cause bees are in limited numbers up to 2 per nest

There is a purple "horned beetle" as well which looks similar to the blue beetle.

I had to ask the same question. You are looking for a beetle. But this beetle doesn't live on stumps like the other ones. Instead it lives in the ground. If you use your dorkip on the grassy ground of a desert island, it will remove grass, as it normally does, and it may also collect a beetle. Then you can put the grass back, and try it again.

did find a horned beetle on a stump on a burnt one but it was there. Just RNG is bad?
