Stuck on an island. Help please!
I died because I fly into a zone where my glider broke. Respawned on an island. Did not own a home island yet. The problem is - it seems that I respawn in a sort of rock texture. Can not move. Only a few steps into each direction. Claimed this island as home, reload, same issue. Load older saved games - same issue. Try to build stairs to reach a higher point - did not work. Any idea? I will lost my 4h progress if I can not go on. First bug, awesome game, but I am in trouble o_O

hmm. If you can't get out of the stones you might have to start a new world? characters and worlds are not connected.
from what you are saying you are in the starting area since there is no way to get away from the starting island unless you make even a small island ship

Oh no XD I thought I might have to delete the character , stupid idea ... But I guess I would have lost my full inventory nevertheless. Collected to many stuff and wanted to find a nice spot for building now XD I am not on the starting island, pretty far away and a tiny tiny island with 3 blue stones and a small pond. In a huge rock beside that XD That game is offering "Lay down" and I can lay down in the sky. With tiny pieces of the rock texture around me. There is no way to escape. Well, will start again now. Why did my flying thing broke?
You really shouldn't need to restart!

You can use the F1 command "noclip" to get out of the rocks. You could also put your character into another world, claim a home island there, then (if you wish) go back to the previous world and spawn your new home island, or else use it just to find your preferred island and claim that one.

Pretty sure there are more workarounds, but I got some pancakes to make.
