Where are the creatures?

i played for 6 hours long on differend island did differend things and i have not seen a single animal. only some beetles

creatures will be in the EA, hopefully in the next week or two. They were removed from the Demo to streamline the Demo, since caring for them required some things that are locked in the demo. There are still sheep, but no goat, alpaca, or pheasant.

There may also be other new animals in the EA. Fingers crossed.

then why did my friend see sheep on his island somewhere who downloaded the game at the same time as me? and i dont.

I would say your game is bugged then. There should be sheep on several islands. Restart with a new world. You can keep the progress on your character, just load up the inventory with anything you want to take with you. If the next world is void as well, then you should probably report the bug and the devs might want to see your game file.

FYI the placement of the islands is fairly random, so it is slightly possible you didn't visit the right islands. If you visited the same islands where your friend found sheep, and there are no sheep there on your world, then it is a problem.

Also, if you have questions for the developers, you should post them in the Discord. You will get a response much faster than in the Steam forum.
