Aloft
Aloft Cooking Guide
Steam won't allow me to make a guide for a game I can't yet purchase, so I'm posting it here, instead.

20 Cooking Ingredients
Bold ingredients are available in the demo (Adventure mode):
  • Blueberries
  • Bone meal*
  • Carrots - creative only
  • Chestnut Seeds
  • Corn
  • Egg (very limited supply in the demo)
  • Flax seeds - creative only
  • Flour
  • Garlic
  • Leaves
  • Watermelon - creative only
  • Milk - creative only
  • Reishi mushroom
  • Potato - creative only
  • Pumpkin - creative only
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Tomato
  • Water
  • Wheat
* Note: Bone meal doesn't appear to be used in any recipe in the game, and I've never heard of it used in real-life kitchens, either. Perhaps Aloft would be better served by using it as a fertilizer than as a cooking ingredient?

This is awesome! Thanks for the guide and recipe suggestions :)
Thanks. I came looking for something like this after my first 3 attempts to cook meals ended up with a Burnt Meal, An Overseasoned Meal and a Stale Meal :D

Back in my demo days, I lived off of 3 recipes: Carrot Loaf, Stew, and Soup. Gave me great buffs, and overall the same base ingredients are shared somewhat across them so... mass-plant them with a nearby water source and you are set. (need birds for egg supply for one of them) Wouldnt be surprised if there were other good combos as well (pay attention to the buffs+times)

what region is the Garlic found in?
Garlic is not in the main game, yet. You can "make" it in Creative by putting it on a Cooking Plate, then removing it to your inventory. This (cheating) method would be the only way to cook Summer Salad in Adventure mode; otherwise, you have to find it that dish in chests. That's also the only recipe that uses Garlic.

See the "more official" version of my Cooking Guide for more info (this post was my first version; I've been updating it since last summer).
