Hope this clear things up ^^
For the first year and a half we were 5 on the team, now we're 14 :D
We recently hosted a very successful multiplayer playtest, the devs are polishing up the experience and it will be added to the game at some point.
No "hook", no PVP... but there are conceptual similarities. It doesnt take much playing to see Aloft went in a different direction; their inspirations/goals are just not the same. I hate to bundle them all into one "islands in the sky" stereotype but its inevitable I suppose.
Not that interested in Worlds Adrift myself since its dead, but Lost Skies is something I would consider reviewing to play if it ever makes EA; also not the same type of game either, but the setting could be interesting.
