Question regarding blueprint stones(?)
Hey all, I remember seeing someone play this a bit on Youtube but that was a long while ago. I'm playing the demo that just recently released. So, there are these special stones with a hole in them with a long red cloth that give you blueprints for important things, and I was wondering how many of them there actually are, at least on the 'starter island'. The first one is pretty easy to find but since the game guides you to building a glider pretty early it's probably easy to miss the other ones. The only other one I found was one that gave me a blueprint for a leaf bed.

So the question is: how many of these are on the starter island? Are you expected to use the sketchbook thing to discover the rest of the machines and parts?

Bonus question: I unlocked the spyglass but I don't know what some of the symbols mean There's a rock with a question mark and one that I assume means that the island is sick/decayed from the mycelium virus thing.

as far as I can tell, there are 2, so that first one right up front, and 1 on a cliff. not including the glider stone. (also all recipes seem to be random!)

Bonus answer: I believe the ? island is one you've not visited, I know it took me a bit to discover each island because some of them are microscopic compared to the others but if you haven't yet found it yet, there is an island with a helpful tool for making sure you've found them all!

and you're correct with the sick/decayed one.

Okay, the main reason I posted this was because I remembered there being a way to pilot your own airship in this game (I was mistaken, you pilot the islands). Just after making this post I stumbled across what I'm pretty sure was the missing ingredient. Haven't tested it out since I haven't decided what island I want to be my 'home' island yet.

On many of the largest islands, there is a "hidden" stone underneath, too. Fly under the island and look for a small ledge.

Indeed, in this new demo, the "ship parts" are unlocked through the Anchors that you can find on the massive island in the middle - try exploring around until you've found all you need to make an island-ship!
