Flora Diversity?

I don't know how to increase the flora diversity, I already place a bunch of wild seed but out of many of them I only got 1 increase on the guide book. I also try planting trees and farm plots but still no luck

Try right clicking while holding wild seeds to change the species you're planting - diversity is all about addings plants that aren't already on the island ^^

Oh wow, that is not intuitive. I had "emerald isles seeds" so I was thinking that others kinds of island give others kind of seeds, but there was none on the demo and maybe it was not available yet

You can use a sickle to collect seeds from a variety of bushes. While Emerald Isles Wild Seeds is equipped, there is a tooltip on the right-side of your screen that says change seed (right-click). You can cycle through a bunch of plants and boost the flora diversity very quickly.

Which is not at all intuitive given all the other seeds do not have this function. For this to work, there must be something in the main description of Emerald Isles Wild to denote this ability. Also, there should be some identifier for the plant type currently selected.

They should had done the same way they did with building, so you could see that there was different kinds to change between.

i have found several islands that want 8 Flora diversity, but the applicable wild seeds only has 7 alternatives, i planted over 50 of them cycling each placement and can't get over 7/8, is there some other thing that does flora? its on a Fallen Heights island

le bug n'est toujours pas résolus je suis bloqué a cause de cette mission ou je ne peux pas planter 8 La diversité de la flore faut remplacer la mission et mettre autre choses part pitié le bug dure depuis un moment

Yeah I wish the plants had names, I struggle to differentiate between the different types when I try to reference the book and instead just waste seeds planting one of each until I get to 100%. In the book, SOME of them have names (forest/cave), but since the seed packs do not have names, that is not a good way to check.
