Multiplayer symbol above animal.

So I just ran into this issue. I created a new character and a new map and I've been playing it all day. Finally got to the point where I needed animals for milk. I find them on islands, feed them, pick them up and drag them to my island and they have this weird red multiplayer symbol above their head like they belong to someone else. I can't shear them or milk them. If I put them back on their original island the symbol goes away but I never get the option to milk or shear. I have a lot of animals on my island that I can't interact with. Please help.

Also, I've already shutdown the game and restarted with no luck, it's still there.

This means your animals feel overcrowded, and won't be producing resources as a result!
Try dropping some off onto another island :)

I tried that... Even the last animal I was going to move over still had the symbol. Then they started falling off the other island and popping back on to mine from the sky.

EDIT: I think I got it fixed.

iv got 3 goats 5 birds and 7 sheep. This to many? seen island needing like 10+ animals so it doesn`t feel like iv got to much. What is the limit?
