how to get yellow mushrooms/cotton and wool?

havent been able to find them anyone know? also how to cure for pets?

You get mushrooms by applying the potions from the brewing lab to weapons. You apply the potion at the upgrade table, and use the upgraded weapons on mushroom men. Eventually you get to tier 3 potions and these will cure pets. You get wool from sheep and alpacas, but you'll need to cure them; only goats and pheasants are found healthy to start. There is no cotton in the game; perhaps you're thinking of linen? If so then you get it from flax. You need to break the flax to get fiber, then weave the fiber on a loom to get linen.

Does it actually say cotton? Are you using the English-language version? It's flax to me, always has been.

Yeah as the guy mentioned, the research table has a couple of upgrades you can discover as soon as they're applicable. You need to brew a potion then apply it to a weapon, and there's 3 levels of potion to research.
