I know you want to mute just the menu music and not the whole game, but I wouldn't know any other way.
It’s the Sewers Theme from TMNT 2003 for GameCube/Xbox/PS2. It’s a great track, but it constantly looping gets annoying after awhile.
There were a few other tracks they could have included in the menus, in addition to the one that’s already there to keep things fresh.
I made the suggestion to them back on one of their live streams (along with a few other things), but nothing came of it.
I'm fine with silence, but if there must be music, at least put something appropriate.
Again, the problem is the fact that they included ONLY one track from the entire TMNT series for the entire rotation in all the sections of the menu, in the collection.
Each section of the menus should have had a different song playing, similar to most previous collections. The Sonic Mega and Sonic Gems Collections are perfect examples of how to do it right.
Regardless, it’s still a great track, and I’m glad they used it. Though, bottom line, they should have included more tracks for rotation, or at the very least, let us play the full soundtracks included in the Turtles Lair while browsing said extras section.
