Which version to buy?

I own hitman goty and hitman 2 gold edition on steam and I read a few times that if I already own them then I can buy the regular hitman woa (not the deluxe) and still get new york and haven because I own hitman 2 gold. Is this true?

Should still be true, yes. If you bought Hitman 3 Standard you should see "HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion"from this bundle as part of your library.

No. It's not. Hasn't been since it became World of Assassination in January of last year.

yes, you have to rebuy, you can't import locations from previous games anymore

That is very greedy why don't they give the dlc access pass to owners of hitman 2 gold

I am wrong, the other guys are right. You will have to re-buy the additional locations from Hitman 2.

And just to clarify: If you own HITMAN 2 Gold/ The HITMAN 2 Expansion Pass on Steam, and never went through the process to get the H2 Expansion Access Pass for HITMAN 3, you will have to purchase it to gain access to that conent.

if you liked HM1+2, get the deluxe version and all DLC. I think the game only shines if it's "complete" - like you, I had to buy stuff again I already owned but it was worth it. Now everything is on sale so go get it :)

Correct. You need WoA + "Hitman 2 Expansion AccessPass" (or the whole DELUXE pack)
