What "version/edition" to buy ?!

I never ever played a HITMAN game and i like to play this one but its SO CONFUSING for me, on what version to buy of HITMAN 3 but its also called "World of assassinations" ? Huh?!

So to get all the missions without any bs cosmetic or what not, what version should i buy ?

Right now the base game is on sale so i was thinking of buying that one. if somebody could explain the difference to me and which to buy in simple terms i would really appreciate it.

There is a line "if you don´t care about Skins + Escalations just get "HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion

Is the "Escalation" like needed or is it just like a side obejctives in missions to make it harder or something like that ?

Escalations & Contracts happen on the same map-pool (HM1+2+3), but you can´t save - similar to Freelancer (Endgame Mode aka the same as a long Campaign). Btw, all these are Online-only. Also note that you can make Contracts yourself.. or play those made by other players (helpful for few specific Achievements).
-> All these DLCs are barely worth it - even in SALE, unless you really enjoyed Escalations & ElusiveTargets in HM1+2 and want more variety of harder enemies with own Personality + MissionVideo + tailored AI script + additional bodyguards

IF unsure, GameModes ->Arcade ..and try a few (like current Ouroboros Event)

WHAT TO BUY
Buy Hitman World of Assassination (includes Hitman 1 GOTY edition+Requiem Pack+Hitman 2 and Hitman 3 standard editions)

then if you want premium content, buy Hitman World of Assassination Deluxe Pack so you can access more content like the 7 Deadly Sins Collection, HITMAN 2 Expansion Pass which includes the DLCs (like New York, Haven Island, 2 Sniper Assassin Maps, DLC Escalations and Contracts, Cosmetics etc) for Hitman 2, and ofc the Hitman 3 deluxe content which includes a soundtrack and artbook (you must download it in the official IOI website and requires you to create an IOI account and link it to Steam), some cosmetics, and some Deluxe Escalations and Contracts with exclusive challenges and cosmetics.

DO NOT BUY WOA PART ONE BECAUSE IT ONLY INCLUDES THE FIRST HITMAN GAME!!!

BUT if you bought it then YOU CAN UPGRADE to the proper WoA trilogy by buying this:

INDIVIDUAL DLCS
Then if you want more stuff buy the packs listed individually (like the Sarajevo Six mini-campaign, Trinity Pack, Undying, etc) because those are not included in the two WoA bundles I've mentioned.

BE MINDFUL that only two of the individual dlcs have Escalations (Undying Pack and Sarajevo Six) and one doesn't even offer any unique rewards or even cosmetics (Sarajevo Six). The rest are purely cosmetic packs so its up to you if you want to buy them.

Thanks to all who cared to help me !!! After i reed your suggestion i decided that for now (since i never play a second of a Hitman game) i will buy the full HITMAN III/WoA and the HITMAN 3 Access Pass: HITMAN 2 Expansion for now, because i only want maps (NO COSMETICS) and the sins something and the Escalation thing i will buy maybe in future since it doesn't look that important for me right now as a newbie to Hitman and it would just confuse me (as its doing rn :D )

Here's another question: if I buy hitman world of assassination trilogy part one and I also buy a DLC for hitman 3 am I able to use that DLC in part one (this is very confusing for me).

Like what? Many of the DLC are specific to the part of the game they unlock. The cosmetics are largely universal or for Freelancer. The Freelancer bits will not be available in Part One since it has no access to Freelancer.

For all the content deluxe, I’d ask said friend why in the 8 or so years they didn’t play at most hitman 2.
