Transferring from Epic to Steam
I already own this on Epic but rather continue the Game/Year 2 on Steam.
If lets say I get the standard edition of Hitman 3 does all my progress and DLC carry over to Steam?

no, nothing transfers over and it's not possible to transfer progress

Okay that's terrible, I transferred my Steam progress from Hitman 2016 and Hitman 2 2018 to Hitman 3 on Epic last year o.0

That is really disappointing and lame, I'd rather not use the Epic version anymore.
So basically I'm forced to stay on the Epic version or lose all my H3 progress :(

Where have they said it would be possible to do it later?

They didn't, they have to be extra clear to people.

Wasn't meant as an emphasis but I understand the confusion. I don't want some dipshet to come back in a few months if they do allow transfer to go "you told me they would never allow it!"

If you buy it on Steam in addition to having your Epic installation, You do know you can do a Steam to Steam transfer progress transfer, at least you will start off H3 on Steam with the same progress you started H3 on Epic.

Yes, you can transfer H2 Steam to H3 Steam, effectively starting H3 Steam with the same progress you started H3 on Epic.
Read the link again.

Same issue here, can't transfer progress from H3 Epic to H3 Steam, so I lost a year of progress, unlocks, Elusive Targets, etc...
I will not buy this game until it is possible to transfer data. "For the sake of clarity", what a joke. We know you can IOI, you just don't want to. Give it to the players that are trying to support you and bought H3 on Epic, it's getting silly.
