Mouse centering Issue in both HITMAN 2 and 3
Somehow mouse autocenters when I'm moving it across the menu. It's VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. It's been happening in previous HITMAN 2 as well. How to fix it?

So I have Logitech G HUB software. Mouse centering never happens in other games.

Same issue here. If I turn on my Xbox controller, it stops the issue, but then occurs again as soon as the controller shuts off. It's like the game is constantly switching between controller and kb/m controls.

I have my xbox one controller plugged into usb all the time while using mouse and don't have this issue. Have you tried turning off Steam Controller settings?

I don't use controllers nor similar devices. Could it be wireless headset? It doesn't change things when I disconnected it. It can't be wireless mouse too.

I tried it with the dongle disconnected, same issue. My headset and mouse are both wired (mouse has bluetooth/wifi but I always have it plugged in at the desktop, and the wife/bluetooth toggle is off), same issue. So I'm not sure.

Interesting. I contacted support about the issue.

Interesting. I contacted support about the issue. Wireless mouses likely work from radio transmissions rather than wifi
Sorry, not wifi itself, but dongle wifi. It has a bluetooth radio to connect directly, or a dongle that you can use to connect to a USB port. It's a 2.4g dongle.

Do you happen to have a joystick connected? I know you said you don't use controllers or similar devices (I assume a joystick is similar in this context), but I just removed my joystick, booted up the game, and it works perfectly fine now.

Re-enabled the joystick, mouse was acting wonky like it was once again trying to pick a device and couldn't. Removed the joystick again, issue disappeared.

Unlikely to be your issue, considering your comment, but maybe try removing anything that could be seen as a controller and give it a try.

I found the fix! Right click Hitman launcher .exe > Properties > Compatibility. Just click the 'Change high DPI settings' box, and enable the 'High DPI scaling override at the bottom, with the application selected. Now works fine for at least 5 minutes! Same thing happened to some WOW players

Sorry, it doesn’t work at full force as it was again.. I’ll just wait for their response and use arrow keys for the menu
