Not even mentioning that the infinite dungeon "for free" aka "Its an unfinished game and they should finish it" doesnt take my critique into account. The game is shallow, Every Monster is the same, but with a different element and skin on it, there is no Monster Evolution in any kind (which is a big part of any creature collector game) and the Stardew Valley-esque Part is just as deep, with the player unlocking basically everything within the first 2-3 hours of gameplay.

Maybe instead of throwing slurs at me, you should take criticism seriously. I am not critizicing the game because i want to hate on it or the developers, i am doing it because i want players to have a good time playing it, and what the devs are providing right now simply isnt for the most people.

Dawg, did you not read what was released for free? If you're that upset don't play the game. The indie devs have to make money somehow after the initial sale. The game is still actively being worked alongside the paid DLC. The DLC is clearly not the main focus as it has no relevancy toward the main game. It's literally optional winter themed cosmetics ffs. If you wanna be mad at DLC be mad at literally any AAA company, not people trying to make an honest living doing a passion project..

If you think selling cosmetic DLCs is a wrong practice, it still shouldn't affect your view on the game as a whole. Especially if you genuinely loved the game. If you don't like the devs doing that then okay, they're not really forcing you to buy it. The DLC cosmetic is an extra support and I think it's fairly priced. The new game mode or dungeon is a free update which is great because coming from an indie dev that's also remarkable. Also, just to remind you, they left early access for more than a month already.

The irony, hypocrisy, and projection in your last comment.. Do you feel better now that you got that out on a Steam Forum lmao? When has most cosmetic DLC had "significant" value? Skin packs on Minecraft, horse armor in Oblivion, Deep Rock Supporter DLC, Battle Bit supporter DLC, etc, like this is nothing new. It is literally an option for people to continue supporting the devs, while also getting new content to use in-game. It's really not that deep, nor uncommon..

Since you're so knowledgeable on indie development, why don't you propose a better solution for them to keep up with bills after the initial sale of the game then. There is a genuine difference between finding other ways to promote revenue while continuing to work on a game, and straight up milking your fanbase and only caring about microtransactions.

Not every dev is as lucky as Eric Barone/ConcernedApe/Solo Stardew Dev. You clearly don't understand the mental and physical resources necessary to create a quality but lucrative product long-term. It's not as easy as you think it is.

DLC for a fairly empty feeling game is wild. Especially knowing its cosmetic.

This game isn't early access. It's a full release. And I also don't agree with them going the paid DLC route either while the base game still needs some serious attention. I think this game has a lot of potential, but it FEELS early access.

Imagine thinking people shouldn't be able to pay their team because you feel it's "scummy" for people to be able to feed their family. Do you think DLC doesn't take time and money to create. It's as you say: The DLC is C O S M E T I C. You can just not buy it if you don't want to support the dev's updates. You're not losing anything by doing so.
