Holo Bittybolt??? (Bad Luck or Bugged?)

Hey all. Absolutely loving this game and recently started holo hunting. Bittybolt is my absolute favorite so far so I have launched an effort to find the holo. I started over world farming first and have since graduated to the cave method. Unfortunately I can't help but feel that something is amiss, as far as probability goes. I understand it could just be bad luck but hear me out.

I farmed for 6 hours. Two spirits visible in the cave, torches to light them up so I can see. I'm even making sure that there is no holo shine effect on the regular yellow Bittybolts, in case it simply isn't showing the recolored sprite.

Note: I am not so far into the game that I have found the potion that increases the chance. I simply have a Jelbell following me for increased chance.

So far I have captured/seen 6+ Snohm, 2 Barkbyte, 2 Capacibee, 4 of the little lightning cloud dude (forgot his name), 4 Armbot, 5 toaster things, and 4 of the floaty light bulb thing.

Not a SINGLE holo Bittybolt. I noticed that they spawned the least out of all the other spirits, but surely after so many hours and 5,000+ spirits "seen" it should have happened by now, right???

Can anyone confirm if there is a better method for hunting for this particular spirit, or if there is a known bug? At this point I'm wondering if I'm simply wasting my time. I know I could wait until the potion to increase probability, but I would rather go through the game with my favorite holo rather than having to wait until end game when I'm most likely going to be done playing for a while... :c

That is going to be the next thing I attempt. I was honestly just hoping to do it with the cave method because it seemed so much faster and I lack the patience to try and farm the eggs. At this point though it's probably going to be the best way for me to save my time overall. 😭
