Repeated Crashes
I have been adoring this game and have put almost 40 hours into it.
However, I am growing tired of how constant this game has been crashing on me. If not once every hour sometimes every half hour no matter what I do it will black screen/freeze and crash. It's making me find the game tedious having to save every 5 minutes in fear of it crashing. If anyone knows any fixes or if the devs plan to fix this please let me know.

i got the same issue too, getting very repetitive and tedious. Otherwise adore the game :/

I'm so sorry this is happening ! I've never had the game crash even once and I've played 150+ hours of it. I wonder what is causing these crashes for people... My settings are normal, fullscreen, english -- and in game, longest day, reccommended spirit spawn, easy fishing, always sprinting.

If you know how to compare CPU specs we can do that, I consider myself to have a fairly good gaming PC. The only issues I have with moonstone is it stutters a bit when loading new area/moving around town and flying. But never a crash, I even tab out of it to do other stuff, leave it running while I'm gone, etc...

They are constantly updating right now, so I guess any SPEC information is helpful to try to narrow things down? Game development must be tedious and difficult, so many different things can occur..

I have also been having repeated crashes, at least one every half hour or so, which gets pretty frustrating if you forget to save and have to do a whole day over. I have been trying to figure out a pattern, but they are happening in different kinds of scenarios, even me just walking around an island. I'll probably have to put the game down until someone gets a handle on it. I'm running an i5 with a Geforce GTX. I hope they can fix this. I'm holding off on my review to see if they do, because it is otherwise a very fun game.

I don't know all my specs but I can play Baldurs Gate 3 on this computer and have Gforce GTX so I know it can run pretty hefty stuff :c Seeing other people having the same issues tells me its not just a computer thing I wonder if its a uncommon bug. Gonna try installing an re-installing again to see if that will fix anything since the latest update but other then that I can't think of what else to do. Our settings are the same too so sadly I still havent found a fix for this thing. I appreciate your input though :bearlovely:

The game starts freezing on me during the endgame in winter after finishing the main quest. Basically every time I enter a house, it might crash now

I found my freezing/black screening and crashing became much less frequent when I checked under my graphics settings for windows. Turns out windows was automatically running the game in power saving aka using my integrated gpu. After going to system > display > graphics I clicked "add app (desktop app)" clicked on moonstones .exe file and changed it from "let windows decide" to "high performance".
