Compost bin

Does anyone know how to make a compost bin? I've gotten two fertilized recipes from the skill tree but have been unable to make them? Not sure how to do so... would be nice to utilize these skill points.

If I remember correctly it unlocks from one of the quests your mom sends you by mail. Probably the first one where she tells you to make a specific concoction for her?

It's the one for crafting an abundance potion...assuming it isn't a randomized request but it is to do with dads birthday present.

Also, potentially relevant detail: Even though the quest instructions tell you to craft the abundance potion, you don't actually have to - if one drops for you from a chest, you can use it just as well.

For me, the abundance potion was the 17th recipe (out of 20) that I unlocked, and that happened in later winter. So if the quest required self-crafted potions, then the whole quest line (as well as the compost bin) would have been blocked for me until then. Thankfully, a dungeon chest dropped the potion for me in summer.
