Evolution?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but something I was thinking about.

Since the spirits have levels, do they evolve when they reach a certain point or do Spirits always look like they do from the very beginning? Obviously this isn't pokemon, but this is a common trope in creature collectors, so it has me curious.

That means that they might add it? I'm fine with either way but would be a great thing to add
