Game lenght

What would you say is the playtime to complete the 4 episodes of the story? Couple hours per episode ? I played the demo and really liked it, just want to have a better idea of the content for the story mode and if you plan on adding other episodes.

There is 4 episodes so probably 2-3 hours thats it

The last two episodes are longer than the first two. Something like 1h30 each. So the total time to finish the campaign is about 5 hours in a straight line.

just finished in 3 hours on hard, but Im really fast completing games in general. There are also secrets, challenges and arenas that add playtime if you want to

The first chapter (which is just the demo with a couple of extra rooms) took me 45 minutes. The second one took me two and a half hours because I died a lot in the two big fights.

I may actually try this, although I normally would not buy a short game. I like the thought of supporting a team like this, and you'd spend more than $20 to watch a 3-hour movie in the theater.

I'd wager about 45 minutes per mission if it's your first time and you're exploring. The achievements all want you to speedrun the mission in about 30 minutes, which is totally doable without having to optimise your map traversal. So your first playthrough should be about three hours. Then you'll be back to complete challenges, find secrets, play Arena Mode. It's a good time for a $20 game.

Thanks everyone. Will probably pick it up and see. Just like to know when starting a game if I am in for multiple gaming session or if I am gonna get through the whole thing rather fast. The fact they said the story was split in different episodes gave me the impression we could get more of these in the future too.

From our own judgment and what we see from players completing the game, completing all 4 story episodes can take between 3.5 and 6 hours depending on how fast you are, how much you explore, etc. Episode 1 is shorter, but the episodes get longer and longer.
For extra playtime, you'll get challenges and secrets to uncover in every level, and we really recommend playing the arena mode too, as it's an entire game within the game which can easily hook you for 5 hours or more if you're into it.

The older I get, the larger my backlog becomes (and let's face it, in light of a certain recent massive CRPG having come out..) I am drawn more toward a tight experience like this.

I think I got worse since the next Fest demo though since I've already died fainted near the start of Episode 1... might take me a little longer
