I was wondering if there is an easier way to sort the pieces other than having to click and drag every individual piece. I know you can shift click to make a square around a bunch and move them all at the same time. But that doesn't work when you need to sort those pieces. I like this game, but when you are first starting a puzzle, having to sort every single piece for larger puzzles takes way too much time, is boring, and hurts my wrist doing so many repetitive movements. As you do the puzzle the sorting becomes easier because there are less pieces so it isn't as much of a problem but especially in the beginning it is definitely a problem.

Hello. There are currently no options for auto-sorting pieces. I may add in a "cheats" option in the future for stuff like this but it's not currently planned for next updates.

There are a couple ways to help making sorting faster.

If you shift-right click you can change grab mode from normal to adding one piece at a time to your hand into a stack.

With a selection of pieces in your hand shift-right click can change to dropping one at a time from a stack.

With these two modes you can pick up all the ones you need and drop them one at a time into rows.


One more option when you have multiple pieces select is if you press "G" it will group them into a pile. After grouping ctrl, alt, or shift + mouse wheel adjusts the size of the pile.
