Yes this is something we'll be looking to implement. This will most likely come after the multiplayer update. In the meantime if you need to backup saves:
The puzzle progress, room customizations, and settings are saved here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Jigsaw\Saved\SaveGames
And custom puzzle images are saved here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Jigsaw\Saved\CustomImages
A couple of notes:
Just keep in mind they have to have the same puzzles or DLC content installed for the save to display. For example if you've used a room material from the Serene pack, but they don't have it installed, the room save won't display until they've installed it.
We'd love to eventually incorporate room sharing with Steam's Workshop, but that's a workaround for sharing until then.
Saves/Rooms that include custom puzzles can be shared with others as well, but they will also need to import the same image file that was used for them.
