We might allow different puzzle types, it is on the list of things, but pretty far down compared to other bug fixes and additions I'd like to add. If we did this it might be something like changing it to a wooden puzzle look with larger pieces to differentiate it from the standard puzzle when hanging on your wall.
For graphic settings there isn't a lot because currently there isn't a lot to change. All lighting is baked and there is no "real time" lighting so options like shadow/lighting quality just do not exist.
From reports I do agree there are some performance issues that need addressed for certain systems (laptops in particular) and this is high on my list to look into after bug fixes and a major code rewrite that I am finally almost finished with.
In the meantime resolution and vram seems to play a major part in performance (most likely because of the high resolution textures we use). I would try playing at 1920x1080 if you can.
Recently I've had issues running a game lower resolution than the windows setting (not just in my game) and disabling game bar fixes it for some reason. If you have issues changing desktop resolution to the same as the game does make it bootable to fix anything.
In the future I will be adding a render resolution setting to avoid conflicts with windows while still getting the performance boost.
Edit:
Also really appreciate the new puzzle interaction options, it works great and makes the whole experience much more seamless.
Oh and I've a question, is there any option in the game to enable a "click" sound or something of the sort when pieces connect?
Oh this is good to see! I've wanted a "click" sound for a long time! :)
Getting the support pack as a show of support, thanks again!
I've recently upgraded my PC and it seems that the game is capped to 62 FPS, which looks somewhat stutter-y on 144hz. Is that an error on my part? If not, is there a way to edit the cfg file to change the cap, or is it hard-capped? Thanks!
Edit:
Found it!
