Edge pieces disappeared?
So I was doing a puzzle as normal and decided it would be easier to work on the downstairs table and keep the unused pieces upstairs (upstairs is the original play area). But, I selected too many pieces to transport at once and I got a message saying "Fatal Error" and the game crashed.

Upon returning, all transported pieces were gone, but I clicked the button to bring all the pieces back to the play area and that solved it. HOWEVER. After doing that, all of my edge pieces (all connected) disappeared entirely, and I'm not sure how to get them back. I'm not sure where they are, if they are glitched, invisible, or whatever, but they are completely gone. Any tips?

Hmm. Are you able to upload your saved games to google drive or somewhere ( C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Local\Jigsaw\Saved\SaveGames ) so I can take a look at it?

Ok had a chance to look at this. It's a bug and a bad one I can't believe wasn't brought up before.

The issue is the table is not completely flat and has 3d elements:

In the game these 3d elements are treated as part of the table so move pieces to table button does not count them as "off" the table. So when moving a bunch of pieces they glitched into that area.

I can't think of a way to select them from inside however I am working on releasing a small bug fixes update soon. I will change this to work with move pieces to table then. Sorry about this!

This happened to me too, missing just 1 piece now.
Any workarounds?

Would be nice if you could take a look, if you find some time.

So looks like both of you found a problem where if a piece gets in a certain spot, which is inside the table but just far enough where you cannot see it to click on it but just a pixel still inside the area considered "on" the table so move pieces to table button does not detect it outside the table area.

Good news is I'm finally almost done with some major code changes I've been working on so updates will be easier/faster, so I should have an update to fix this soon. It's really just moving the detection area half a pixel up to avoid this.

In the meantime I think I can manually edit these puzzles and upload a new save for you. I'll look into this tomorrow.

Oh and here is where your piece is. Inside the table at the center, just enough where you can't see or click on it:

@Skyfi357 Here is a fixed save with your pieces back:

@Lingo and here is your save fixed (I had to hack it a bit to open a save without having the same custom image. Hopefully it re-saved with the original fine. Let me know if it doesn't load correctly)

Hopefully have an update out soon that doesn't allow this to happen anymore :)
